Goolgle Streetview in the iDome Visualisation project: work in progress An application to navigate withing Google Streetview panoramas in the immersive display environment iDome. Projection is either fisheye, equirectangular of warped for the dome geometry. Still to do: User Interface. A iPhon or iPad web app with a Google maps AP. Displays a satellite map with a layer indicating Streetview panorama availability. All the usual pinch-zoom and scroll functionality. The web app sends the selection to the visualisation Mac driving the iDome via XHTMLRequest and OSC on server side. Quartz Composer app with interface. 4m diameter iDome.
